(Image: Painting by Jerry Rose) (Northeast Harbor, ME) An exhibition featuring new landscape paintings by noted Maine artists Tom Curry, Randy Eckard, and Jerry Rose will be held at The Neighborhood House in Northeast Harbor August 12th through August 14th. The show opens with a reception on Thursday, August 12th, from 5:00 to 7:30 pm, and the exhibit continues on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. All three artists, who are represented in galleries and private collections around the U.S. and internationally, have painted in Maine for decades. Curry, a colorist whose luminous landscapes have been featured in Down East, Maine Home + Design and other publications, will show new pastels and oil paintings. Eckard, whose work captures the timeless quality and charm of Maine’s traditional architecture and landscape, will show new watercolor paintings. Rose, whose paintings of Maine and the Bahamas provide an intimate glimpse of landscapes and lives in isolated places, will show new work in oils, watercolor and egg tempera.
