Artist Statement:

Since I was a kid, I remember smudging my fingers and moving paint around on paper. Now painting is my way of life. It’s my meditation, my exercise, and a tool to express myself. I am drawn to painting still lifes in natural light. The process of creating a composition and telling a story fascinates me. Although I don’t always love the outcome, it’s the act of applying paint to canvas that continues to excite me.
