The Portland School of Ballet's mission is to provide a professional education for children and adults in the full spectrum of classical ballet while serving as a broad based educational institution for the general community. Portland School of Ballet has hosted master teachers from Boston Ballet, Alvin Ailey, Ballet Opera de Bordeaux, American Ballet Theatre, and the Bolshoi Theater of Uzbekistan, just to name a few.
