Thomas Berger's stone sculptures are a celebration of the beauty, diversity and resilience of nature. He sculpts fish, birds, reptiles, mammals, sea creatures of all sorts, such as crustaceans, echinoderms, mollusks - often with a degree of abstraction and a fossil-like appearance, showing signs of erosion.

"My thriving is not only to find beauty in the obviously pleasing, but to expose beauty and dignity where they are less apparent to us."

He prefers using granite, basalt and marble for his medium to large sized creations - they are suitable for outdoor installation and look beautiful in a park or at the water's edge.
