(Belfast, ME) Waterfall Arts has scheduled art classes and workshops for adults, teens and children at their Belfast and Montville locations. The first workshop, Outdoor Wall Art led by Bangor artist Pigeon, takes place on Saturday, June 23rd from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The workshop is a hands-on lesson in wheatpasting street art. Deborah Bergman will lead a one day workshop in Felted Vessels on Saturday, June 23rd from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. This one day workshop for adults and those age 12+ combines the process of wet felting around a form along with needle felted embellishment to create unusual vessels. which can be used to display dried plants or valuables. Classes for young people are scheduled for July and August and include Drawing Comics and Flipbooks, Yoga and Art, Digital Photography, Animation, Fiber Fantasy, Fractal Tie Dye, This Special Place with Nancy Glassman, Maskmaking and Mask Theater, Paint, Pencil, Pastel and Print, 3D Art, Animal Parade, Glass Beads and Rock Band 101.
Adult classes and workshops include Strappo, Life Drawing, Metal Sculpture, Drawing Downtown Belfast with Kris Engman, Watercolor Painting, Beginning and Advanced Torchwork and Cast Cuttlefish Jewelry.
