(Image: "Evening at the Lake" by Evelyn Dunphy) Come Paint in Beautiful Southwestern Nova Scotia (West Bath, ME) Maine artist Evelyn Dunphy is holding two painting workshops in early July 2011. Evelyn Dunphy is an award winning painter and her work has been accepted into many national and international juried exhibitions. Evelyn offers watercolor classes at her studio in West Bath, and is often out painting at one her favorite places such as Katahdin Lake, Monhegan Island or Moosehead Lake. Two sessions will be offered. The first, “The Essence of Watercolor,” begins July 5th and is a three day introduction to watercolor at Milford House, one of Nova Scotia's most historic lakeside retreats bordering the Tobeatic Wilderness Area. This workshop will serve as an intensive introduction to the medium of watercolor with an emphasis on painting out of doors. The second session, “A Plein Air Experience,” begins on July 9th and participants will spend two days painting at the lakes around Milford House Wilderness Lodge, and the following two days painting at Kejimkujik National Park.
