(Portland, ME) Recently retired as an instructor of painting at Maine College of Art, Douglas' lengthy career began at the San Francisco Art Institute, where he studied under Richard Diebenkorn. Sophisticated color, texture, and composition are hallmarks of his work. There will be a reception on Thursday, November 4th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
