(Brunswick, ME) In-Flux is a large scale site-specific sculpture that challenges the formal capabilities of the material and engages the space between the massive gallery columns. Pelissier has twisted, bent and welded hundreds of feet of steel tubing to create an abstract response to the Androscoggin River that runs behind the Fort Andross Mill. In-Flux captures the energy and current of the river in a floating braid of heavy metal. There will be an opening reception on Friday, June 8th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Coleman Burke Gallery in Brunswick is located at 14 Main Street in the Fort Andross Mill, near Frontier Cafe. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
