(Image: Necklace by Dan Dostie) Grand Opening on June 13, 2010. (Portland, ME) Heron Point Gallery is proud to welcome Dan Dostie as a gallery partner to its Old Port location. As Dan closes his Milk Street location, he brings an extensive collection of his gold and silver jewelry and an artistic eye for beauty. The gallery will continue to showcase glass art by Bonnie Faulkner and also welcomes three new gallery associate artists: Stephen Lanzalotta, painting; Avery Pierce, glass jewelry; and Abbigail Hinds-Aldrich, jeweler. Rotating exhibitions by these and other Maine artists will continue to be featured during Portland’s First Friday Artwalks. The grand opening will be on June 13th during the Old Port Festival celebration. There will be a raffle of an Avery Pierce Bracelet ($145 value); a $50 gift certificate for work by Dan Dostie; and to the first 25 customers, a free pair of fused glass earrings by Bonnie Faulkner with any purchase of $50 or more in the gallery. Heron Point Gallery is located at 164 Middle Street at Market in Portland, Maine. Summer gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
