Her experience and extensive international travel contribute to her unique style of dance. Since moving back to Maine, she has taught throughout the state and to all levels and ages. Shana is the producer of Women's Works, an annual collaboration of female choreographers and performers, and teaches dance at Belfast Dance Studio and Unity College. Born in North Carolina, David Lewis started playing guitar as a teenager. He went to music school for a while, and then played French horn in a US Navy Band. He enjoyed several years playing pedal steel and bass in rock, country, and jazz bands before coming home to acoustic music in the early ‘90s. In addition to playing solo, Lewis also performs in the Belmont based bluegrass band, Free Seedlings. Linda Buckmaster’s poetry, fiction, and journalism have appeared in statewide and national publications. She has published three chapbooks of poetry and is currently at work on a collection of essays/prose poems /transgenre somethings. She works for Women, Work and Community and teaches communication in the University of Maine system. Buckmaster is currently the Poet Laureate of Belfast, Maine.
