The Event Takes Place on Saturday, August 11th(Rockport, ME) The Maine Coast Heritage Trust announces Aldermere Farm’s 12th Annual Art Show and Sale to be held on Saturday, August 11th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Farm’s beloved Belted Galloway cows, beautiful pastoral vistas overlooking Lily Pod and Penobscot Bay, and Maine coastal scenes are the artists’ inspiration for the works presented. (Image: "Calves at Play" by Carol Latta) Dozens of artists contribute to the show, creating a mosaic of scenes ranging in size from tiny miniatures to large framed pieces, and a variety of media such as pen and ink, watercolor, pastels and oils. The coveted event is free and benefits both the artists and the Aldermere’s programs and operations. There are price points for everyone—from window shoppers to collectors. The Farm will also have its retail items such as t-shirts, note cards, and other “Beltie” items for sale, as well as its famous all-natural, delicious beef. Come by with friends or family, peruse the beautiful artwork, and learn more about the farm and its many community offerings. Aldermere farms is located at 20 Russell Avenue in Rockport.
