At the Harbor Works Gallery

(Harpswell, ME) Musician, sculptor, print-maker and documentary photographer William Anderson discusses his experiences and artistry over four decades of intimate visits to African-American rural and urban communities in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and South Carolina, forming the basis for his exhibit, “No Cakewalk.” These conversations will take place will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 28th and 29th from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at the Harbor Works Gallery in Harpswell. The event is free and open to the public and the exhibit will be on display through October 3, 2010.

Harbor Works Gallery is located on Holbrook's Wharf in the Holbrook-Trufant House, 977C Cundy's Harbor Road in Harpswell. The gallery is open Tuesdays from 5:00 – 7:00 pm; Wednesday through Friday from 1:00 to 7:00 pm; and on Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 to 8:00 pm. Hours by appointment are also available by calling 207-841-9812.
