The Show Opens on October 7th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.(Peaks Island, ME), “Diversity”, a group exhibit at Richard Boyd Art Gallery on view October 7th through October 30th, showcases the individual styles of gallery artists using various media. On view are blown glass works by Keith Weiskamp, acrylic paintings by Jay LaBrie, oil and encaustic paintings by Jeanne O’Toole Hayman and ceramic art and pottery by Rick Boyd and Pamela Williamson. The gallery is open on October 7th for the first Friday art walk from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. (Image: Pottery by Rick Boyd & Pamela Williamson) Richard Boyd Art Gallery is located on Peaks Island at the corners of Island Avenue and Epps Street in the first building on the right. The gallery exhibits one of a kind ceramic art, pottery, paintings and blown glass by established and up and coming artists. An art studio producing hand made one of a kind art with a focus on ceramic art and pottery is located on the second floor. The gallery is open Thursdays through Sundays starting October 13th through 30th, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. All other hours are by chance or appointment.
