The Exhibit Runs September 4th through October 30th.(Portland) All are invited to the opening reception of “Cloud,” a kinetic sculptural installation by Gregory Witt, on Friday, September 4th, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm (First Friday Artwalk) at the Coleman Burke Gallery @ Port City Music Hall, located at 504 Congress Street in Portland. (Image: "Cloud" by Gregory Witt) Combining elements of high and low tech as well as old and new tech, Witt’s pieces are droll twists on familiar categories and frames of reference, with a playful but illuminating sense of the absurd. After receiving his MFA degree from Carnegie Mellon University in May, 2009, Witt attended the Skowhegan School of Painting & Drawing this past summer. Witt lives and works in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
