“Paris Blues” Runs Through October 31st(Stuben, ME and New York, NY) Joseph Haroutunian, a long time resident of Steuben, Maine, will show recent oil paintings which are related to jazz and the landscape of Maine and the Southwest at the Ezair Gallery in New York. Born in Chicago, the artist has made his home in Maine since the early seventies. He showed for many years at Cape Split Place in Addison, Maine as well as nationally and internationally. He currently has work with the Littlefield gallery in Winter Harbor, Maine. (Image: "Paris Blues" by Joseph Haroutunian) This will be the artist’s second show at the Ezair Gallery. The “Paris Blues” title is a reference to the movie of the same name which concerns expatriate jazz musicians living in Paris.
