Located at 153 High Street in Belfast(Belfast, ME) The public is invited to the first opening of Marc Leavitt's art studio at 153 High Street (upstairs), Belfast, Maine on Friday, November 4th from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. Represented by Galerie Swanstrom (Newbury and Thayer Streets in Boston) for 5 years whose owner named Marc Leavitt her "Biggest Success Story" in Boston Common Magazine, Mr. Leavitt's works have been showcased in articles for Architectural Digest and The Boston Globe. Juried recognitions with the Cambridge Art Association in Massachusetts include artworks distinguished by a Directors' Choice Prize (private collection, Boston), Honorable Mention Prize (private collection, New York), and National Prize Show (private collection, New York). Marc Leavitt was also selected for maineartscene.com's 1st Juried Online Virtual Showcase (with co-juror/curator Suzette McAvoy), accepted into juried exhibitions with River Arts (Damariscotta), and honored to have participated in over 15 other solo or group exhibitions over the past decade.
