A Course in Film-Based 35mm SLR Photography(Old Orchard Beach, ME) This course, presented by Jamie St. Louis of Beggar's Ride Studio and Gallery will take place every Tuesday evening from 6:30 until 8:00 pm September 14 through October 19, 2010. (Image: Photograph by Jamie St. Louis)
(Image: Photograph by Jamie St. Louis) This is a beginner to intermediate level course for students interested in learning more about photography techniques using the standard, manual features of 35mm single lens reflex (SLR) film cameras. Students must use a 35mm SLR film camera for this course, and there are “loaners” available through the studio upon payment of a refundable security deposit of $150. Students will receive four shooting assignments throughout the course and are expected to have the film developed prior to the next class meeting. The fee for the course is $125. Class Schedule:

Jamie studied photography throughout high school and at the University of Southern Maine. His studio is located in Biddeford, ME, and he photographs and teaches throughout the state.
