Through January 23, 2010.(Brunswick, ME) On view at the Frontier Cafe are images from photographic works of Photo Pals, a photography-exchange program created by Samuel Modest and Rosalind Worcester. Photo Pals connects students in different countries learn photography and exchange the images they make. The photographs have been created by students in Darjeeling, India and by the 4th grade class at Woodside Elementary School in Topsham, Maine. This is the first cycle of the program, and the students have gotten to see some of each others' images, and work on similar projects. Next spring, a second cycle of the program will begin with 5th graders at Woodside and students in Sankhu, Nepal. For more information, please visit the Frontier Cafe website. |
