The Exhibit Runs September 7 through September 27(Camden, ME) Rock Paper Scissors will open at Old Salts Gallery Friday September 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. This show will celebrate the end of the summer season with featured ceramic artists Randy Fein and Alison Eads, photographer JP Fecteau and Down East cartoonist David Jacobson. Works of art on paper include panels with hand-made paper by the well-known artist Christine Higgins. (Image: “Summer Blossom” by Christine Higgins) Christine's most recent work focuses on recycling fibers from a local organic farm’s products, accompanied by poetry inscribed on the fiber maps by the CSA farmer, Craig Hickman of Annabessacook Farm. Other artists who round out the show include: Dina Petrillo of Belfast; David Cadbury of Rockport; Beth McKinney of Rockland; and Joan Siem, Debra Thuss and Penny Gentle, all from Camden. Old Salts Gallery is located at the corner of Mechanic and Washington Streets in Camden. Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturdays 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
