We are very thankful for the support from our 1,850 Facebook fans, our 4,830 Facebook friends, our 620 Twitter followers, our 6,000 unique monthly visitors. As you know, our magazine and our virtual art showcases do not rely heavily on advertising and we continue to be grateful for any contributions. PLEASE NOTE that we are a "for-profit" organization (microscopic profit) so your contribution to Maine Art Scene, LLC is NOT tax-deductible. Consider making an online donation(*):
You can also send a check to: Maine Art Scene, LLC 31 Congress Street Belfast, ME 04915
THANK YOU! Your contribution will help us promote Maine Art in new and enterprising ways.
(*) Just like any blog/magazine Maine Art Scene is basically a labor of love. Our "for-profit status" does not mean much. We have a number of projects already in the works (multi-vendor online art store & ticket sale, new virtual art exhibits, latest web/mobile platform) that require some substantial time/$ investment. We know we are providing a service of value and people have donated in the past, so we thought why not ask. Regardless of the results of this "support campaign" we plan on further developing maineartscene.com. A little financial help from those who can afford it could help speed it up!
