Featuring Work by Emerging Photographers Matthew Cronin and Allison Smith(York, ME) StoneCrop Gallery presents its final exhibition of the 2012 season, featuring photographs by this season's gallery intern Matthew Cronin and gallery manager Allison Smith. The show will be up through October 31st, with an opening reception on Saturday, October 20th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. About the Artists: Allison Smith graduated from MassArt with a BFA in Photography in 2011 and has been working with the gallery for the last year. On display are photographs from her ongoing series, "By Night." StoneCrop Gallery is a seasonal fine art photography gallery located in scenic York, Maine, just steps from the Ogunquit Museum of American Art. Both a gallery and unique piece of architecture, StoneCrop has been a home to artists for much of the past century. Past exhibitions have included work by photographers such as Henry Horenstein, Jim Dow, Yoav Horesh, Barbara Bosworth, Stephen Sheffield, Karin Rosenthal, Nancy Marshall and more.
