(Belfast, ME) Waterfall Arts is pleased to invite anyone interested in volunteering to stop by any 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Our volunteer coordinators will be ready to talk about the many volunteer opportunities available at our Belfast location, 256 High Street. If you’re not free on Wednesdays, give us a call to arrange for another time that works for you. Waterfall Arts volunteers are our lifeline; without their time and energy Waterfall Arts would not be able to put on exhibitions like “The War on Peace”, featuring the works of Robert Shetterly, Alan Magee and Harlan Crichton or the variety of programs, workshops, lectures and classes offered to all ages in the community. Why volunteer? It’s people like you that make places like Waterfall Arts so special. As a volunteer you become part of the Waterfall Arts family and a partner in our success. You will meet like minded people, expand your networks, build new skills, enhance your resume and make a difference in your/our community. Waterfall Arts is looking for people of all ages to volunteer at the arts center in Belfast. Megan Cullen, office manager, says "Volunteers are our lifeline; without their time and energy Waterfall Arts would not be able to put on exhibitions like “earth” or the variety of programs, workshops, lectures and classes offered to all ages in the community. Currently, we are in immediate need of gallery assistants, greeters, painters and office helpers.” Volunteers become part of the Waterfall Arts family and a partner in its success, meet like minded people, expand networks, build new skills and make a difference in the community. Come share ideas, nurture interests and expand knowledge by volunteering; gallery greeting, program coordination, events, workshop and studio assistants, grant writing and research, exhibition support and much more. We look forward to hearing from you! Contact Waterfall Arts at 207-338-2222, visit us on Facebook and waterfallarts.org, or email us at info@waterfallarts.org. |
