(Image: Artwork by David Random) (Greenland, New Hampshire) The 8th annual Art of Great Bay is looking for artists, including those from Maine, to participate in this year's fund raising art exhibit and sale. We are looking for artists to create works of art utilizing re-purposed materials. Past pieces have been made of stones, sea glass, recycled metals and various recycled materials. The main criterion is that pieces must display some three dimensional quality and keep to the theme of "re-purposed" or recycled art. Submission deadline is Friday April 5, 2013. The Art of Great Bay is a fundraiser to support the Great Bay Discovery Center in Greenland, New Hampshire. This event will be held at the Great Bay Discovery Center, located at 89 Depot Road in Greenland, New Hampshire. There will be a public opening reception on the evening of Friday, May 3rd. Exhibit and sales will be Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5. Presence by either the displaying artist or a representative is highly recommended.
