(Image: Kelly and Bill Davis Will Help Coordinate the Waldo Art Ware Alliance Markets on Fridays at Waterfall Arts) (Belfast, ME) Waldo Art Ware Alliance, in collaboration with Waterfall Arts, is having and open call for artists who are interested in selling their art on Fridays during the Belfast Farmer’s Market. The open call will take place at Waterfall Arts on Saturday, May 12th at 2:00 pm. Interested artists may come and apply then—please bring samples of your work. On the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Friday of each month starting Friday June 8th, artists will set up at Waterfall Arts Center located at 256 High Street in Belfast from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm during the Belfast Farmer’s Market. Please note that there will be no art market on the Fridays that the Farmer’s Market is downtown, that is, the first Friday of the month. Waldo Art Ware Alliance is a local, non-profit group working with and in Waterfall Arts to establish a juried, local art market for regional artists that have beautiful, hand-made practical art wares to sell to the public. Artists interested in joining the Waldo Art Ware Alliance may find more information and an application on our website www.waldoartwarealliance.org or email us at waldoartwarealliance@gmail.com. You can also find us on Facebook, Waldo Art Ware Alliance, and “like” us to keep up with announcements and events. For more information, please see our website or you may call Waterfall Arts at 338-2222. |
