(Image: Painting by David Estey) (Belfast, ME) Primavera: The Maine Fine Art Figure Exhibitions will celebrate modern interpretations of the figure, or nude, in this classic art genre. Primavera I will feature fine art figure photography, and Primavera II will feature fine art figure drawing, painting, and block printing. This inaugural event will take place at Galerie Dufour in Belfast between April 14th and May 18th. The call is open to part-time and full-time Maine residents. The show will be juried by accomplished artists David Estey (painter) and Charles Laurier Dufour (photographer). Submission guidelines and other details can be found at www.du4photo.com under the left margin heading, “2012 Primavera Exhibitions” or by calling 338-6448.
