On Thursday, July 16 at 7:00 pm. Gordon Bok takes the stage at Rockland's Strand Theatre for an evening that is sure to be remembered. Bok is an established leader in preserving, collecting, creating and sharing a wide variety of rich and beautiful folk songs about the land and sea. His rich mastery of both 6 string and 12 string guitars and well developed vocal expressions create an unmistakable style that has carried him decades of being a cherished folk artist. This concert is sponsored by Station Maine, an organization of community members dedicated to offering boating opportunities at no cost to youth of all ages in the mid-coast Maine area. Tickets are $25 for all ages and are available for purchase by calling Station Maine at 207-691-2037, by visiting their office at Sharp's Point South in Rockland, or online via the Station Maine website.
