On Saturday, October 16th at 1:00 pm, the Poetry and Art Gallery walk will open with early music singers from Ave Maris Stella at the Belfast Dance Studio. The audience will then move among the galleries to see the art, hear the poetry read, and learn about the collaborative process. The event will close with a reception at Waterfall Arts in Belfast.

The Belfast Poetry Festival is one of the few community-based poetry festivals in the country. The two-day event opens Friday night, October 15th with Maine Poets Old Home Night, an open reading where the winner of the Maine Postmark Poetry Contest will be announced.
