(Monroe, ME) Kenny Cole has recently been selected to participate in a new online community of American artists called USA Projects, the creation of United States Artists to expand its mission of investing in America’s finest contemporary artists. You can join this community and help it grow! Cole has just launched his project “As High As Heaven”, an exhibit of very large two-sided paintings, which will premiere at the Perimeter Gallery at Chase’s Daily in Belfast, in March of 2012. View his project by clicking here. To date, Cole’s project has garnered 38% of his projected funding goal with previous pledges matched by the Maine Arts Commission and the USA Open Matching Fund. The Artist2Artist Fund is currently matching new pledges. Cole is offering great “thank you” perks, including original works of art, available for anyone that’s interested in supporting him in this effort. Pledges can be as little as $1! USA Projects is a community where America’s finest artists and those that love and support them can share their latest work, discover new artists, enter into a dialog with each other, and make direct donations (of any size, all of which are tax deductible) to new projects created by each artist. Here you'll discover the stories and undercurrents driving the most amazing artists working today. Become a vital part of making it all happen! This is the first website that allows direct public donations between art patrons and accredited artists on the Internet. If you can’t support the project financially, you can always help by spreading the word, telling your friends about it and by simply exploring this new online community of America’s finest artists! |
