(Lewiston, ME) Delight in an evening of hope and inspiration as Tri-County Mental Health Services offers the Sixth Annual Inspired Voices Benefit Concert and Art Exhibit, on Saturday, June 25th at the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston. The event features music, poetry, dance, and art from people who have received services at the agency, sharing the stage with the Inspired Ensemble of professional musicians and performers. This year Inspired Voices will feature some returning performers and some new friends making the journey to hope and healing. Music Director Nick Place and Director Catherine Ryder are back for the 6th year, and the inimitable Andrew Harris will again serve as emcee, lending his warmth, humor and heart to the show. TCMHS Board President Peter Letourneau will share the hosting duties and plans to mark the agency’s 60th anniversary with various surprises appropriate to each decade. This is the event featured in the powerful documentary film “The Rehearsal” by filmmaker Craig Saddlemire, winner of the MPBN Director’s Award in the L/A Film Festival. The film followed consumer participants onto the stage and toward recovery in the 2010 performance. A reception and art exhibit begins at 6:00 pm, followed by the featured presentation at 7:00 pm. Tickets for Inspired Voices on Saturday, June 25th at the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston are $20.00 in advance, $25.00 at the door, or $15 in advance and $20 at the door for students and seniors. Reserve your tickets today by calling 783-4663 x104 or online at www.inspiredvoices.com. Thank you to lead sponsor Great Falls Collaborative ~ the team you can depend on! (Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, Common Ties Mental Health Services, Community Concepts, St. Mary’s Hospital, and Tri County Mental Health Services). Proceeds benefit Tri-County Mental Health Services, celebrating 60 years of giving hope! |
