Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens Features Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit Through September 30th

The exhibition, Perennials: Enduring Sculpture for the Garden, features the work of eight Maine sculptors who create work in diverse styles and mediums, ranging from the abstract to the figurative and from wood to stone and metal. All are appropriate for outdoor display. The artists include Stephen Randall Parmley, John von Bergen, William Martin, Anne Alexander, James Strickland, Constance Rush, Dan West and Charlie Hewitt. The show has been organized for the Botanical Gardens by Suzette McAvoy, former Chief Curator at the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland. All works in the exhibition are for sale, with a percentage of sales benefiting Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.
