(Unity, ME) American Idol finalist Sam Woolf will perform in concert at the Unity College Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, May 13 at 7:00 pm. The Boston-based singer-songwriter is releasing a new EP, following his hit EP “Pretend” and recent singles Fast n’ Dirty and Stop Thinking About It.

About Sam Woolf

Sam Woolf is a 21 year-old folk/pop singer songwriter known for his original arrangements, beautiful pitch perfect tone and emotional, original songs.

In 2013, Sam attended a five week program at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and was one of four students chosen to perform live in the winners showcase as well as one of four students selected to perform in the theater-in-the-round singer/songwriters performance. He was also one of the Berklee students referred to American Idol for auditions, where he then went on to gain national recognition as a finalist on American Idol’s 2014 Season, placing in the Top

Sam was a featured performer at an Alex Preston concert in New Hampshire, has co-headlined with the Doobie Brothers, War, and Jefferson Starship, and has opened for We The Kings. He has toured throughout the Northeast with the Como Brothers Band, and was featured on a track of the Como Brothers EP, “Live at 89 North”.

Independent Grammy-winning producer Danny Blume produced and recorded the EP “Pretend” which contains Sam’s originals and debuted at #9 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart.

Currently, Sam is writing a set of pop originals with Israeli musical prodigy/guitarist Orion Meshorer.
