(Kennebunk,ME) River Tree Arts announces a call to artists for two gallery exhibitions. The first, Splendid Splashes, is River Tree Arts' oldest annual gallery show and celebrates abstract art and local artists working in painting, photography, sculpture and fiber art. The second call to artists is for the fun summer show: Surf and Turf: Seascapes, Landscapes, Sculpture, Jewelry and More Created on the Coast of Maine. This show is open to artists and craftspeople includes jewelry, pottery, glassware and other high end crafts in addition to paintings, photographs and sculpture.

The Call for Splendid Splashes
The open call to artists includes paintings, photographs, sculpture, and fiber arts. Artists must drop off work for juried entrance into show April 30th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Splendid Splashes will be display May 4th through May 26th. There will with an opening reception on Friday, May 4 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm featuring live music and light fare. Entry fee for River Tree Arts members is free and for nonmembers there is a $25 jury fee.

The Call for Surf and Turf
Surf and Turf: Seascapes, Landscapes, Sculpture, Jewelry and More Created on the Coast of Maine. This exhibit will be on display August 10th through September 22nd with an opening reception on Friday, August 10th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm featuring local beer and outdoor grill with live music. Drop off artwork for juried entrance into show on Monday, August 6th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. There is a fee for non RTA members of $25.
