(Islesford, ME) The Islesford Workshops have become an institution in the world of painting workshops. Veteran painters Henry Isaacs and Ashley Bryan continue to facilitate a program akin to a residency. Ashley and Henry lead an exploration of shared goals and opportunities as opposed to the familiar technique-based class. Two of the country’s most distinguished artists facilitate an extraordinary atmosphere of collaboration and conversation, enabling participants of all abilities to understand art making as a means of personal communication.
