(Kennebunkport, ME) Chris Becker is pleased to announce the 2nd exhibition of Canine Bliss, July 16th through July 31st with an artist reception on Saturday, July 16th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Recently featured in the June issue of Real Simple Magazine, Becker focuses on the simplicity of his subject, the dog. Becker captures dogs sticking their heads out the window of moving vehicles.
“To me, nothing says happiness quite like a dog hanging its head out of a car window. Photographed along the coast of Maine—I snapped the pictures from the vantage point of either the front passenger seat or sunroof of each dog owner’s car—these images give me an instant emotional pick-me-up. Much of the work I produce as a photographer is complicated, and can be interpreted any number of ways, so I like that this series has a straightforward purpose: To make the viewer smile, laugh, and remember to live in the moment.” —Photographer Chris Becker
