(Bar Mills, ME) The concert is on Sunday, August 12th at 3:00 pm. On their way from Nova Scotia to Naples, Florida, these two accomplished musicians are visiting local relatives. Lan is an adjunct professor music at Ave Maria University and Director of Music at Paul’s Church in Naples, conducting their choir and members of the Naples Philharmonic with whom Geoffery plays violin; Geoff is also a founding member of the Botticelli Quartet, The Aurora Piano Trio, and the Neapolitan Baroque. They will play sonatas by Mozart, Beethoven, and Brahams as well as short works by Jules Massenet and Joseph Achron.
Admission is $16 for adults and $13 for students and seniors. Violin and piano students are free. The Saco River Theatre is located at 29 Salmon Fall Road in Bar Mills (GPS location is Buxton, Maine 04093) and the Old White Church is located right next door.
