Two Old Friends Perform Music & Poetry
(Bar Mills, ME) On Saturday, September 1st at 7:30 pm, McHale and Hutchins revive their high-spirited, 1990s Irish band Northeast Winds, with Irish ballads and rousing pub songs, sing-alongs and hot-picking instrumentals; the poetry of W.B. Yeats recited by Emery “Hutch” Hutchins is spellbinding. The Saco River Theatre salutes “Mac” and “Hutch” for their huge contributions to the the theatre's musical legacy with The Angel Band and the Old Time Radio Gang.
Admission is $14 for adults and $12 for students and seniors, or by donation. Children 12 and under are free. The Saco River Theatre is located at 29 Salmon Fall Road in Bar Mills (GPS location is Buxton, Maine 04093) and the Old White Church is located right next door.
