(South Portland, ME) Macpage LLC is interested in displaying local artwork in their South Portland office for their second exhibition, themed “Abstract.” This follows a successful inaugural exhibition, where 27 local artists showcased a total of 67 pieces of work. This exhibit will run from November 1st through January 25th. All media is accepted (please see specifications below), and Macpage will not take a commission on work sold. There will be an opening reception at Macpage on Thursday, November 1st from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
Submission Information
Pieces should be relevant to the “Abstract” theme
2-D artworks of any size up to 160” wide x 78” tall and in any medium that can be hung on the walls (this dimension includes any framing)
3-D artworks no larger than 3’ in height and in any medium
Artists may submit 3 pieces of work and send sample JPEG photographs. Please include the following information with your samples:
- Artist’s Name & Contact Info
- Medium
- Dimensions
- Title of work and year created
- Sale price or NFS
Please provide a hanging wire for any hanging piece and any necessary pedestals for sculptural pieces. Display tables will be available for use. Artwork may be submitted via email to Bethany Mitchell at brm@macpage.com before 5:00 on September 14th. A final selection of works chosen will be announced on September 21st with a physical delivery date of October 12th before noon to:
