ANGEL BOORD (Boothbay Harbor, ME)

Photography started as a hobby for Angel. Her first career was as a naval aviator for twelve years. The Navy gave her the opportunity to travel the world and live overseas where she actively immersed herself in local food and culture. Although flying was fun and exciting, it didn’t move her creatively.

After moving to Boothbay Harbor in 2006, inspiration struck her lens. Her opinion is that everywhere your eye lands, there is something beautiful to see. Since then, she has spent time trying to reflect the beauty and tranquility of the Boothbay region with a camera. She is a volunteer docent at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, a member of the Boothbay Region Garden Club, the Boothbay Historical Society and the Boothbay Region Art Foundation.
