BOB JOYNER (Ogunquit, ME)

A great challenge for me is to capture the beauty and complexity of natural subjects through both realistic images as well as abstract interpretation. I am particularly fascinated with the vibrant colors available in nature and floral subjects. I hope my work challenges the viewer to stop and reflect on the image and their experiences.

As an active photographer for over thirty years, I am a star exhibitor and member of the Photographic Society of America, and also a member of the North American Nature Photographers Association. My images have been accepted in PSA salons around the world and have also been displayed in several galleries on the East Coast.

I have studied photography and graphic design in many ways including classes at the Maine College of Art and at Indian River Community College. Additionally, I have taken numerous workshops with nationally known photographers specializing in nature and flower photography. I also enjoy teaching photography locally.
