(Friendship, ME) Salt Pond Studio announces that Nobleboro artist Graham Walton will be exhibiting his amazing paintings July 9 through July 16.
The beauty of this region’s coast remains a central theme in Graham’s work. Whether he is painting a landscape, portrait, or still life. If you expect to see the colors and compositions associated with traditional Maine landscapes paintings, you may find them absent. Walton, inspired by the impressionists, fauvists, and modernists, uses bold color. His compositions are built on line work, with brushwork creating intricate patterns and designs. The overall effect is unique and compelling.

Walton’s exhibition will be open daily from July 9 through July 16, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm. There will be a Covid -19 sensitive, BYO refreshments artist reception on Saturday, July 11 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
