(Friendship, ME) Salt Pond Studio presents a stunning exhibition of ceramic vessels and sculpture inspired by artist Randy Fein’s imaginative interpretations of life below the waterline. The show spotlights a series of large ceramic urns, relief carved and colorfully glazed pieces. The “lobster pots,” as Randy calls them, are big, bold and beautifully executed by this fine ceramic artist.
Please come join the artist at the opening reception for this fanciful exhibition on Saturday, September 5 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. The show runs through September 20.
As always, the Gallery will also feature the work of artist/owner Pam Cabanas.
About Randy Fein
Fein draws her inspiration from ancient Minoan pottery created mostly by women and decorated to tell us the stories of their ancient culture on the island of Crete circa 2000BC. Living on the coast of Maine for some 50 years, Randy’s pottery is also profoundly influenced by the immensity of the ocean and the diversity of life in its depths.
